FARE EIMEO

« Fare Eimeo is my turquoise wonderland. » Moehau, Founder & Interior Designer of Eimeo Living.

The Soul:

Moehau’s family getaway, vacation house stands at the end of the world, on the brim of an enchanting turquoise lagoon. Facing two little islets/motu, it creates a privileged location for silence, beauty and contemplation. As a fifth generation family-owned property, it holds a strong energy of reunion, unity and festivities. The wooden beams are imbued with laughter of children, with Tahitian songs and the sound of ukulele.

The Vibe:

Tranquility and peacefulness prevail on this point. Located on the Northwestern extremity of the island of Moorea, Tradewinds are sweeping the area perpetually, giving this fresh breeze we appreciate in the hot days but also clearing minds from any disturbance. The Amazonite-colored sea water flows gently through the channel all the way down to the pass creating a natural current helping the water and nutrients renewal in the lagoon and supporting sea life. A paradoxical image appears when you stand aloof out in the lagoon facing the property and observing the majestic mountains of Moorea, a reminder of the Beauty of the island being. The synergy of the elements brings forth a pristine clear energy of life motion and ironically a sense of suspended time of an eternal Present.

The Decor:

Nested on the point of one of the most beautiful beach of Tiahura, this gorgeous one bedroom beach house opens on the view of captivating green-blue shallow waters as if you could jump right in, off the bed. This little nook in paradise is the perfect light blue wooden beach house designed for get-togethers and family or friends reunion. This spacious unit connecting the kitchen and the living room, is furnished with cosy benches surrounding the long dinner table. A clever foldable kitchen window opens up on an outdoor bar and a wide deck. This place helps one reconnect with people and share precious moments together. Owing to a mix of influences, the interior design provides a singular and warm atmosphere. Woven bamboo walls and ceiling are reminiscent of the old style Tahitian houses. On the other hand white-washed teck furniture and light color palette remind us of Autralian-balinese coastal fashion.
The second unit concentrates one airy bedroom with high ceiling. From there you get access to a loft room , to a common bathroom and a lovely extension providing an extra bed with a calming seaview.
